The cabin offers great access to outdoor activities like hiking and biking.  Spend a day hiking around Deerfield Lake just 11 miles from the cabin! You’ll be blown away by the beauty of the Black Hills National Forest so make sure you bring your camera to capture the adventure!

This cabin has 3 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom, and provides so much privacy and serenity! Though the vacation rental home feels amazingly isolated, it’s practically in the heart of The Black Hills, offering a central base for all of your Black Hills destinations and situated almost equally between Mt. Rushmore and the historic frontier gaming town of Deadwood.

Guest accommodations at this cabin offer coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.

This cabin is located in Hill City. Wade’s Gold Mill and Museum @ Black Hills Institute are cultural highlights, and some of the area’s attractions include South Dakota State Railroad Museum and Needles Highway.

The colorful landscape of Custer State Park is just 41 minutes away for hiking, biking, swimming, fishing or relaxing in a peaceful mountain setting!

Make your way over to Crazy Horse Memorial, a giant sculpture of a Native American warrior situated in the beautiful Black Hills. Hike around this South Dakota treasure and afterward, peruse the museums that honor the Native American culture.

Pay homage to our past presidents and visit the iconic Mount Rushmore National Memorial 48 minutes away that boasts the faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt! Hike around the park and then peruse the visitor center.   After the sun sets, there is a unique lighting ceremony that you won’t want to miss! Additional adventures await just a few miles away at Rush Mountain!

Badlands National Park is a scenic drive away for a plethora of outdoor adventures! Drive the Badlands Highway 240 Loop for awe-inspiring views of the landscape, hike through the deep gorges and sharp, lunar-like spires, or visit the Fossil Prep Lab!
